CHALK-IT colourless wax 400ml

CHALK-IT Wax is a product for the decoration and protection of CHALK-IT chalk paint. The product is based on natural beeswax and carnauba wax. It provides water resistance, highlights the colour and gives a subtle shine and velvety feel. It can also be used on untreated wood.

Colours: white, black, dark and colourless.

Clear wax is the main protection product for furniture painted with CHALK-IT chalk paint. Use it as a base coat before applying coloured waxes. You can also tint with any colour you like by mixing a small amount of chalk paint.

White and dark waxes are used to cover furniture and decorative elements. They will perfectly accentuate the carved details. The white wax will bring out the colour, and the darker the paint, the more pronounced the white wax effect. Dark wax will give your furniture a vintage look, soften bright colours and add depth to dark ones.

Waxing

Apply a thin layer of chalk wax to a brush, soft cloth or sponge. Rub it thoroughly into the base, and gather any excess with a cloth to prevent build-up on the surface. Make sure you have thoroughly coated the whole area and apply a second coat of wax if necessary. Finally, polish the surface with a soft cloth, giving it a subtle shine. The longer you polish, the shinier the coating will be.

Use a soft cloth and water with a mild detergent to keep your furniture looking beautiful for as long as possible. You can repeat the waxing at any time if necessary.
